Less Healing Plants is an artistic research and production project that I co-developed with Hatiye Garip within the CultureCIVIC programme. The project explores wild and often overlooked plants through visual, auditory, literary, and spatial practices, questioning dominant narratives that reduce plants solely to their healing or utilitarian properties.

Hatiye, İstanbul
Working across different geographies (Gümüşlük and İstanbul), we focused on how plants coexist with their environments and how paying attention to their seasonal cycles, textures, sounds, and stories can reshape our relationship with nature. The project culminated in an exhibition we opened in November 2024 in Gümüşlük, bringing together research materials, artistic outputs, and multisensory experiences.
