Perre Children and City Biennale is an engaging cultural project that brings children’s voices into the heart of urban discourse and creative practice. Supported by İKSV’s Ortaklaşa programme and led by Şehir Dedektifi City, Environment and Art Association in partnership with Adıyaman Municipality, the Biennale emerged from eight months of city-focused workshops with children.

As Design and Implementation Coordinator at Şehir Dedektifi, I developed workshop content with the team, supported facilitators in participatory activities, and contributed to content development for multi-stakeholder workshops that brought together the municipality and civil society organisations. Most importantly, I collaborated with Elif Kılıç in conceiving the Biennale’s exhibition design, bringing children’s narratives of Adıyaman into the public realm and into dialogue with the city’s residents.
